Your Gift Is Needed

Many of us have medicine cabinets full of medicines that we never take. We may have a draw full of toiletries that we never use. The purpose of the products is to enhance or improve something, health, hair or skin. But then there is that time we reach for one of the items and discover it is expired and so we then just go buy more.
We often treat our gifts the exact same way. We consistently take classes and seminars and attend conferences over and over again. We have binders stacked so high; we don’t have enough room for them. Yet, we rarely take the time to use the gifts and or demonstrate we learned the lessons we have added to our repertoire. We don’t apply any of the information to our lives or the lives of others.
No gift is ever just for the one who has the gift. Our gifts vary so that we may fill in gaps for one another. What a shame if you are not using your gifts to improve yourself for the greater good of building up others and doing good in the world. You are just like the medicine sitting in a medicine cabinet or toiletries tossed in a drawer. You are waiting to expire.
How long will you hold on to what you already have?
Do you really need another class or conference before you get moving?
When will you take your gift out and use it like a balm for an ailment of others?
